Dr Abdullah Hakim Quick is a senior historian, religious leader and activist, having accomplished a lifetime worth of achievements spanning many continents while enlightening the lives of millions. He pursued his study of Islam at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia where he graduated in 1979, one of the first two students to do so from the West. He later completed a master’s degree (M.A.) and a Doctorate in African History at the University of Toronto in Canada. For three years he contributed to the religious page of Canada’s leading newspaper.
He has travelled to over 63 countries on lecture, research, and educational tours. His special awards include the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Honorary Chief of the Northern Province of the Republic of Sierra Leone, West Africa and Member of the Order of Arctic Adventurers.
Presently, he is a Senior Lecturer with the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Canada and Special Envoy of the O.I.C. (IRCICA) in the Caribbean.
