Shaun King is a Brooklyn-based activist and writer who focuses on civil and human rights, racial justice, mass incarceration, and law enforcement misconduct. He has been a contributor and writer for several justice-based platforms. He is the Founder and Editor in Chief of The North Star, he also leads the Grassroots Law Project and the Real Justice PAC. A historian by training, Shaun King is the author of several books focused on social injustices, systemic oppression and leading change. Most recently, Shaun King has been inspired by the resilience and faith of the Palestinian people amidst the ongoing crisis in Gaza and embraced Islam.
