Dr. Antar Teleba is a registered psychotherapist based in Ottawa, Ontario. He holds a Ph.D. in education, along with an M.A. in linguistics, an M.A. in religion and public life, and an M.A. in spirituality and psychotherapy. He has taught courses at universities in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Canada. Dr. Teleba served as the Arabic Language Coordinator at Concordia University in Montreal, and as a chaplain in the Royal Mental Health Hospital in Brocville. He currently practices psychotherapy from an Islamic perspective, holding a higher diploma in Islamic psychology and teaching advanced Islamic psychology courses for practitioners and students. He is also a certified Islamic scholar and has authored 25 books on education, linguistics, Islamic history, and translation. Among his notable works is “On the Landmarks of the Prophet in Medina,” where he documented over 500 historical sites. Additionally, he is knowledgeable in philosophy, an occasional Khateeb, and an Imam at local mosques in Ottawa. Dr. Teleba has a YouTube series covering the landmarks of Medina, Islamic psychology, and the life and biography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He has published more than 60 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and has supervised and examined over 50 Ph.D. and M.A. dissertations at various universities.
