Shaikh Ahmad Kutty currently serves as a Resident Scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto. He has earned ijazahs in the Islamic Sciences from India and the Islamic University of Madinah. He has pursued postgraduate studies in Islamic Thought from the University of Toronto and McGill University.
He has contributed to Islamic scholarship for over 50 years, lecturing at institutions around the world. His work has reached international audiences through various media outlets and via numerous articles and legal verdicts (fatwas). He has also authored several works, including Last Journey: Islamic Wisdom on Dying With Grace and What & Why: A Guide to the Most Asked Questions on Islam.
