Al-Kahf 13

At-Tawbah 105

For the past 100+ years, the Muslim Ummah has been subject to immense oppression, suffering, and weakness. We see this culminated into the current moment as we witness the oppression of our brothers and sisters in Palestine and beyond. Given this context, how do we understand the role of youth enacting change? Instead of viewing ourselves as changemakers of tomorrow, how can we enact change today? We learn from historical examples how youth through Quranic guidance, clarity of purpose, sacrifice and hard work, made meaningful change and can do the more in the present, by the will of Allah.

In a world that constantly tries to define us, we’re reminded that our identity isn’t something to passively inherit or hide away. It’s something we activate. The question isn’t if you can lead change. It’s when you will answer the call.
