Expectation: Building learning environments that are developmentally appropriate, curriculum aligned, and tarbiyyah-centric. Striving towards maximum academic and spiritual student competency through differentiated learning, while navigating shorter attention spans and device distractions, remaining culturally up to date with our students and all the while modelling the excellent character embodied by our Prophet SAW. Reality, more often than not, does not align. How can Tarbiyyah, rooted in the Islamic concept of Sabr, assist us in bridging this gap, help navigate disciplinary issues and maximizing teacher and student efficacy?
