Application to join the Children's Program Team - MAC Convention Toronto 2023
May Allah reward you greatly for your interest in wanting to become a Counsellor for the 2023 MAC Convention Children’s Program in Toronto.
The convention theme is “Islam: Perfect Divine Blessing” The Children’s program will revolve around this theme, incorporating activities that children will learn from and enjoy. Our priority is safety of all the children and youth that attend our program.
We are looking for dedicated and energetic counsellors / facilitators who will leave a positive impact on the children and youth.
Date:
Saturday, September 2nd to Monday, September 4th, 2023
Hours:
Saturday & Sunday: The day will be split into two shifts and counsellors / facilitators will be required to be present for one of the shifts and have the option to use the other part of the day to enjoy the convention!
Monday: Counsellors are required to work the full shift.
Notes:
- All Counsellors need to be 21+ by August 15, 2023 (ID required for verification)
- All Counsellors are expected to be onsite/on-time for their shift.
- Transportation to and from the convention is the responsibility of each counselor.
- All Counsellors who work for the FULL 3 days of the convention will receive a complementary convention pass to attend outside their shifts.
- All Counsellors who work for the FULL 3 days of the convention will be paid based on an hourly rate for the hours work not including breaks.
- All Counsellors will receive 1 meal per shift.
- All Counsellors will be required to attend a mandatory on-line training (date to be announced).
