“And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just, that is nearer to righteousness.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:8)
Genocide is not born in an instant, it is crafted, justified, and executed through calculated stages: dehumanization, propaganda, silencing, and systemic violence. The Ummah has seen it before, and continues to see it unfold today.
This session unpacks the “genocide playbook” through the lens of Islamic teachings on justice, truth, and collective responsibility. It challenges us to recognize the signs, expose the tools of oppression, and fulfill our duty as witnesses to truth (shuhadaaʾ ʿala al-nās), guided by the moral clarity of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
